摘要
This paper is a result of a qualitative case study aimed at analyzing the implications of precarization of working conditions of teachers at a Physical Education School of a private higher education institution. We found out that the faculty was progressively subject to capitalist accumulation rationale that explicitly worsened working conditions and affected their health. In this research, we conclude that the pedagogical work at the institution researched becomes increasingly precarious, causing substantial worker's illness. That precarization of labor conditions and teacher's health are closely linked. Professor's health issues include osteo-muscular and vocal issues, labyrinthitis, and those arising from mental health factors such as stress, fatigue, dismay, and anxiety disorder.
