摘要
Along with modem war requires higher performance of infrared detecting and tracking system, studying the dim targets detecting algorithms from infrared image has been one of the hottest and most difficult problems currently. In this paper, the algorithm of dim target detection in infrared image based on the mathematical morphology, which can implement parallel and rapidly, was put forward. After the morphologic intensive transform, the target is strengthened. Doing binarization operation partly can realize target segmentation well. By eroding and dilating operations, the noise is removed commendably, and the resumed result is close to target. It has been proven that the method is rational and efficient.
