摘要
The polyphenolic fraction was studied by quantitative (Folin-Ciocalteu) and qualitative (TLC, GC/MS) analyses during the olive mill waste composting. As showed by quantitative analysis, the polyphenols content decreased (93%) atter 12 months of composting. The TLC analysis confirmed this reduction and highlighted the role of straw in the adsorption of some phenolic compounds. GC/MS results confirm this reduction and has permitted the identification of the following phenolic compounds: 4 hydroxy3methoxybenzylalcool, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethyl vanillate, parahydroxybenzoic acid, 4 hydroxyphenylacetic acid, 2, 4, 6 trihydroxybenzoic acid and 3,5 dihydroxybeuzoic acid. The majority of these compounds disappeared after 12 months of composting.
