Simple Analysis Based on the Ecological Footprint of Linyi City for Sustainable Development

摘要
By using analysis on ecological footprints through comparison of ecological footprint and ecological capacity. in this paper, the principle of ecological footprint is elaborated and also the ecological. footprint of Linyi in 2006 is practiced and analyzed. Results show that per capita ecological footprint is 1.9737 hm(2), per capita ecological capacity is 0.3564 hm(2), per capita ecological deficit is 1.6173 hm(2). The ecological footprint need of ten thousands yuan GDP is 0.6958 hm(2), being greatly lower than the national average levels. So the economic and social developments were in an unsustainable development state. Finally, the reasons for the high ecological deficit in Linyi were analyzed and the countermeasures of how to lower the ecological deficit and realize sustainable development were put forward.
