摘要
Business intelligence (BI) has been a top priority of information technology (IT) executives for several years; the wider academic research community has gradually embraced the topic, but little research has been published on the user experience (UX) of the front-end of BI applications. Although numerous UX frameworks have been proposed by literature, none of these are specific to BI front-end applications. This article describes a systematic review of the literature on UX frameworks for BI frontend applications. Using a systematic literature review (2003-2017) as methodology, this article presents an overview of the UX frameworks identified in the literature, the main elements comprising these frameworks, and future research opportunities in the field. Also presented is a literature-based conceptual UX framework for BI front-end applications as a point of departure in representing UX in the BI landscape.
