The method of auxiliary sources for microwave and ultrasonic imagine

摘要
A holographic technique based on the Method of Auxiliary Sources (MAS) for microwave and ultrasonic imagine is presented in this paper. The essence of the method is the visualization of the Scattered Field Singularities (SFS). The idea is that any discontinuity of electromagnetic characteristics of investigated media causes remission of the incident field and represents the SFS of scattered field. The proposed imagine method is sensitive to such singularities and gives the possibility to visualize and detect the insertions in the area under investigation.
