摘要
The application of inorganic ion exchangers is discussed. The adsorption and separation of Eu(III) on zirconium phosphosilicate is used as an example. Various parameters affecting the adsorption of Eu(III), namely the effect of exchanger, concentration of metal-ion, effect of pH, time of contact, anions etc., have been studied. The adsorption of other elements has been evaluated with and without carrier by determining the percentage adsorption, the K-d value and the decontamination factor. The interfering elements have been suppressed by using suitable masking agents.
