Reinventing the primary therapist model: An integrative approach to treatment and rehabilitation

This article reformulates the traditional primary therapist model for the seriously mentally ill to flexibly integrate treatment, rehabilitation, and case management services. Flaws in the current primary therapist model as well as popular coordinative replacement models are addressed. The proposed model includes six core service types critical to consumers.
