Nanowire-photonic crystal waveguide hybrid structure

摘要
We propose a class of nanocavities by combining nanowires and photonic crystal waveguides. Three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain techniques have been used to study the structures, and the simulation results show it is easy to achieve nanocavities; with mode volumes less than 2(lambda/n(3)) and Q values over 10(6).
