摘要：
In recent years, there have been frequent occurrences of corporate debt defaults, and the corporate credit crisis has gradually deepened. It is imperative to identify the factors that affect debt default risk. This paper takes the corporate financial performance as a mediating variable and uses the mediating effect analysis model to study the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and debt default risk. The findings and contributions are as follows: (1) CSR positively influences debt default risk. (2) CSR can improve the financial performance of the companies and provide a solid economic foundation to repay their debt smoothly. (3) Financial performance plays a mediating role in the relationship between CSR and debt default risk.
