Late application of nitrogen in autumn and its effect on yield of winter oilseed rape

At the research station of FAFNR at CULS in Cerveny Ujezd we established first year of small plot experiment with the graded doses of fertilizer UREA(stabil) and type of fertilizer suitable for late autumn fertilization. The experiments were based on hybrid variety of winter oilseed rape DK Exstorm. The best dose of fertilizer UREA(stabil) in our experiment is 120 kg N/ha, but sufficient dose is considered 40 kg N/ha. In terms of the type of fertilizer, we measured the highest yield of fertilizers with slow - acting nitrogen: Ensin and UREA(stabil) achieved the yield of 110 % compared to the unfertilized control in the autumn. In the case of expected rainfall is very much based on the classical urea, which in an attempt to achieve yield of 107 % (5,76 t/ha).
