摘要：
A low-profile antenna operating from 690 MHz to 6GHz is studied and simulated in this paper. It consists of a miniaturized monopole and an AMC reflector. The monopole is miniaturized exploiting trimming and folding while a wideband AMC structure is designed to improve its performance at low frequencies. The proposed antenna has a small volume of 25 x 25 x 25 mm(3), allowing it to be easily integrated in a compact space. Furthermore, it has a realized gain of 0-8.4 dBi according to simulation, proving that it is suitable for UWB radios.
