A scheme for the SNR estimation and its application in Doppler shift estimation of mobile communication systems

摘要
An average SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) estimation method based on channel power spectrum density(PSD) analysis is proposed here. It can be implemented by FFT to reduce operations effectively. Also we analyze the bias of Doppler shift estimation and recommend an improved estimation method base on SNR estimation, and the high estimation accuracy in wide ranges of velocity and SNR is observed from simulation results.
