Six sigma applied to industry

In recent years, a new model of business management known as "Business Excellence" has been increasing in popularity. One of the pillars of the model is the "Six Sigma" methodology. This article tries to show how a manufacture enterprise in Uruguay included this methodology. Followed by the development of a real project, part of the "Six Sigma's" methods are applied together with its achieved results. In this case, it's main objective was: To reduce the consumption of energy within the company.
