The evolution of IT business process sourcing: Outsourcing and multisourcing

The Evolution of the Business Process Sourcing and its effects on the global tech arena has become the core issue of many companies that entrust its IT activities to a third party vendor. IT sourcing is a growing phenomenon that used to be an option for lower labor cost, and non-core activities, such as credit and collections, billing and different transactional processes (Shi, 2007). But nowadays no one company acting alone can hope to remain competitive and innovative in the IT dynamic environment. This paper describes the evolution of Business Process Sourcing in the IT services: Outsourcing and Multisourcing.
