摘要：
In developed countries, about 30% of the adult population is hypertensive. In approximately half of these people, changes in arterial tension are determined by genetic factors; in the others, environmental effects play the primary role. Concrete genes and mechanisms of high blood pressure have been determined only for a small part of hypertensive states. The state of studies, as well as certain genetic mechanisms of this disease, is discussed in the article below.
