摘要
One third of the world's population is infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and 5% to 10% of those infected will develop active disease. Identification and treatment of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is an essential part of the public health strategy to control the spread of TB. The prenatal period provides an opportunity for obstetric providers to assist in this effort by offering testing and treatment to women at risk. (c) 2005 by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
