P/M 2005 - A 21st century technology

Powder metallurgy (P/M) industry leaders began the new year on an upbeat note. While metal powder shipments in 2004 hit new highs, the optimism hovering over the P/M industry in North America is cautionary. New and improves raw materials, more rigorous precessing methods, and innovative design are pushing the technology closer to the mechanical properties of wrought metal.
