摘要
This paper presents Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI)-based techniques for rendering non-passive system passive. These techniques can enable control engineers to design passivity-based robust controllers for non-passive systems. The methodology presented can be used for linear, time-invariant, multi-input multi-output systems. The formulation is given for three basic passification techniques, namely series, feedback, and feedforward. A numerical example is also given for validation of the methodology.
