Quality assurance in the transfusion service

Along the complex chain that accompanies a secure transfusion to a patient, a multitude of important points have to be defined, tracked and scrutinized along the way. After these different steps are in place with the help of quality team, it is at this moment that the auditing (internal or external) will give a final verdict to the process. A description of the necessary steps to get to the quality assurance will be detailed. To obtain such a quality management, every piece of the puzzle will give its contribution and competence in the erection of the building. This team effort will be followed by satisfying rewards and new challenges.
