摘要
Simple protonic superacid anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (aHF) and its use as solvent in reactions with high-oxidation-state materials is described. A general scheme for an acid-base dependence of the formation of fluorocations, binary compounds or fluoroanions is exemplified by the syntheses of complex high-oxidation-state fluoroanions in a basic aHF medium (e.g. AgF4-, NiF62-), polymeric binary fluorides in neutral aHF medium (e.g. AgF3, NiF4) and cationic species in acidic aHF medium (e.g. Ag(III)((solv)), Ni(IV)((solv))). Cationic Ag(III)((solv)) and Ni(TV)((solv)) species are the strongest known oxidants and could surpass even KrF+ salts. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Paris.
