摘要：

The fire of wildland-urban interface(WUI) is a focus issue in the international. But in china, research for WUI fire suppression is too poor. For the WUI space analysis, selecting for strategic point, control line and buffer zone are important. Through a case study of the WUI fire which happened at Qiongzhu temple area of Kunming city, Yunnan province, in 2009,an effective space control method is proposed, called Space-OTPS, means space outline, space target, space positioning and fire suppression action. The Space-OTPS method provides the strategic positioning model, and helps the firefighting commander to expand his consideration in practice.
