On the PARETO/M/C and PARETO/M/1/K queues

摘要：
Many analytic and numerical techniques have appeared in literature to evaluate performance measures of queueing systems with heavy-tail distributed interarrival times. In this paper. we take the advantage of having a closed-form expression for the Laplace transform of Pareto probability distributions in order to have a better setting to evaluate the different performance measures of Pareto queueing systems. We consider the Pareto distributed interarrival times as a particular case of general and independent arrivals queueing systems with exponentially distributed service times, i.e. GI/M/... queueing systems.
