摘要
The creep settlement of embankment and high fills is often accelerated by some abrupt factors such as rainfalls or temporary loadings. To predict the creep settlement in the geotechnical engineering, a prediction method of creep settlement considering abrupt factors is proposed in this paper based on the one-dimension creep theory of the unified hardening (UH) model. Both the normal creep and the abrupt creep can be better simulated with the proposed method. All the parameters of this method can be easily determined from the monitoring data of settlement, and each of them has explicit physical meaning. Based on the monitoring settlement data of Lvliang Dawu airport, Jiuzhai Huanglong airport and Chengde Puning airport, the fitting and predicting results via the proposed method are compared with three other methods usually applied in geotechnical engineering. From the comparison, it can be seen the proposed method can more effectively and reasonably fit and predict the monitoring settlement data than other methods.
