摘要
In the article, I intend to investigate the possible link between the notion of gender and the category of discipline. The guiding hypothesis holds that gender is a mode that disciplines individual bodies, and which in turn allows biopolitical control. In this sense, my purpose is to examine gender identity from a disciplinary perspective, thus proposing a category called generic action that accounts for the constitution of the disciplined and gendered individual. To achieve this, I will present the notions of power and disciplinary technique in a synthetic but concise and clear manner, to argue from there the notion of generic action.
