Multipolar model of bremsstrahlung accompanying proton decay of nuclei

The emission of bremsstrahlung photons accompanying proton decay of nuclei is studied. A new improved multipolar model describing such a process is presented. Angular formalism of calculations of matrix elements is stated in details. The bremsstrahlung probabilities for the Ta-157, Re-161, Ir-167 and Bi-185 nuclei decaying from the 2s(1/2) state, the I-109(53)56 and Cs-112(55)57 nuclei decaying from the (1)d(5/2) state, and the Tm-146(69)77 and Lu-151(71)80 nuclei decaying from the 0h(11/2) state are predicted. Such spectra have orders of values similar to the experimental data for the bremsstrahlung photons emitted during the a-decay. This indicates the real possibility of studying the bremsstrahlung photons during proton decay experimentally and performing further measurements.
