摘要
The ISBN codes are need to be checked in many everyday life occasions and are required to be input by hand. However, the number of ISBN code is a little more , so artificial input is hard to make a mistake and is slow. According to this problem this article proposes an efective recognition algorithm ISBN code number which is based on the Android 4.4 operating system. The algorithm uses the pictures obtained by video streaming captuirng function of Anrdoid based smart phones as the input pictures and atfer image processing. ISBN code number regional positioning. character segmentation and other preparatory steps , conducts character recognition. In addition, considering the random by manual operation of special circumstances, and make corresponding processing, this article further improved more efficient recognition algorithm. The experimental results show that the whole ISBN code identification process is simple and effective with high recognition rate, which has been obtained satisfactory results.
