摘要
Thermal stability and microhardness are studied for the five amorphous Al-86(Ni, Co)(8)(Gd, Y, Tb)(6) alloys with various transition and rare-earth metal content prepared by the melt-spinning technique in a form of ductile ribbons with thickness 80-180 mu m. All these alloys under heating are transformed into the crystalline state with formation of aluminium nanocrystals having a size <= 10 nm during the first stage. The alloys with enhanced cobalt content possess the highest microhardness and resistance to crystallization. As revealed, there is proportionality between the thermal stability and microhardness of the investigated amorphous alloys.
