The librarian as an educator and multiplier of information literacy

摘要
It aims to describe the actions of the educator librarian who contribute to the multiplication of information literacy. The methodology used was an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, with the outline of the case study and three sources for data collection: interview, direct observation and questionnaire. The research locus was a social school that has a multidisciplinary team, including the librarian and that assists children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability. Among the results, it was possible to identify the practice of multiplying information literacy, in the form of projects and activities developed by the librarian in partnership with other employees of the institution. It highlighted the impact on the skills of all participants involved in the actions, emphasizing the importance of the librarian who works as an educator role in social spaces and in the care of minorities.
