摘要
Phytoremediation constitutes an attractive alternative of decontamination of polluted sites primarily to conventional ex-situ techniques Further development of phytoremediation and especially exploitation of genetically modified plants requires comprehensive insight into heavy metal resistance mechanisms in plants This review is focused on particular aspects of resistance and detoxification of heavy metals on the level of individual plant and single cell
