A SURVEY OF STUDENTS OPINIONS ON CLIMATE CHANGE EDUCATION AT A ROMANIAN UNIVERSITY

The aim of this paper is to investigate students' views about the sources of information and about the emphasis given to climate change in a Romanian university programmes. Respondents' opinions are then compared to those of students all around the world, who responded to the "World Climate Change Survey", launched by the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, during the Klima 2009 conference. When analyzing students' opinions, the context of national initiatives regarding the encompassing of all the aspects about climate change in education will be taken into consideration, especially the ones formulated in the National Strategy of Romania concerning climate change as well as the conclusions of the Report on Europeans' attitudes towards climate change from 2009.
