Gigabit and Multi-Gigabit Data Transmission for Next-Generation Automotive Optical Network

摘要
We engage in an international standardization project for high-speed communication network performance over plastic and glass optical fibers. We have supported IEEE 802.3bv physical layer specifications for Gigabit Ethernet over Plastic Optical Fiber (GEPOF). Progress has been obtained in ISO, where automotive Gigabit Ethernet data communication and Gigabit Ethernet components with measurement method are discussed for standardization, respectively. We also demonstrate a future multi-gigabit transmission link system and component.
