The integration analysis of supply chain management: a case study based on PC industry

Basing on the systematic, survey of domestic and foreign research about supply chain management, this paper introduces the benefits of supply chain management through reducing the operating cost and prompting the level of customer's service through analyzing the basic theory of supply chain management. We can conclude that channel optimization and Just in Time (JIT) can reduce the operational costs of core manufacturer, and making comprehensive analysis to th e customers, customer knowledge management and customer relationship management can improve the customer's service level in the integration of supply chain management. Furthermore, this text points out the success of Dell's supply chain management depends on the efficient direct selling mode, the strategy of just in time and customer management by analyzing the practice of Dell's supply chain management, and suggests that Chinese PC manufacturers should learn from the above three successful management experiences to improve the key competitiveness of theirs own.
