Yield of Winter Wheat as Influenced by Seed Dressing with Humus Preparation and Foliar Fertilization with Potassium

摘要
The aim of the study conducted in the fertile soil classified as mesic Typic Hapludalfs was to estimate the effect of seed dressing with the humus preparation Humistar and the application of the foliar potassium fertilizer Drakar on the yield and chemical properties of winter wheat grain. The positive effect of seed dressing with a humic substance on the grain yield was shown. This yield was higher by 0.19 t.ha(-1) than in the control. The winter wheat grain yield was positively correlated with the number of grains per spike. No significant effect of the potassium fertilizer Drakar on the grain yield was observed. This preparation contributed to a significant decrease in the content of nitrogen and magnesium in grain as compared with the control. None of the studied preparations had significant effect on the leaf greenness index (SPAD) of winter wheat. No relationship was found between the grain yield and the content of macroelements.
