摘要
A suite of khondalite and charnokite at Anakapallae, Eastern Ghats Granulite Belt preserves a variety of reaction textures that attests several prograde and retrograde reactions. Mineral paragenesis and metamorphic reactions have been deduced through textural and phase compatibility relationships. A schematic petrogenetic grid for the pertinent system suggests the spinel, biotite, K-feldspar invariant points to be stable. Pressure - temperature estimation for core compositions using convergence techniques in the present study reveals P-T estimates of ca. 920 +/- 10 degrees C/ 8.8 +/- 0.20 kbar for peak metamorphism followed by cooling and decompression ca. 650 +/- 50 degrees C/6.8 +/- 0.20 kbar
