摘要
Vanadium supported on sulfated titanium pillared clays were studied for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO by NH3 which is the best available technology for NOx abatement issued from stationary sources. In particular, the effect of the amount of vanadium on their physicochemical properties and on the NO reduction activity was investigated. The sulfated titanium pillared clay support (STi-PILC) was prepared by hydrolysis of Ti(OCH3)(4) in H2SO4 and then various amount of vanadium (1, 2 and 3% wt) were introduced by impregnation method. The physicochemical properties of the synthesis materials were examined by chemical analysis, adsorption-desorption of N-2 at 77 K, thermal gravimetric analysis, temperature programmed desorption of ammonia and temperature programmed reduction by hydrogen. The sulfated titanium pillared clays containing vanadium were found active in the SCR-NO by NH3. The temperature window of activity was maximal for a 2% wt vanadium content catalyst.
