A CMOS digitally tunable transconductor for video frequency operation

摘要
In this paper a widely tunable MOS transconductor based on a degenerated differential pair architecture is presented for applications in low-voltage video frequency filtering. Integrators with a phase error at unity-gain frequency lower than -0.5degrees are obtained by using a compensation technique. As an application, a current-mode biquad has been designed in a 0.8 mum 3.3 V CMOS process, with frequency programmability from 3.76 to 27.49 MHz and dynamic range better than 45 dB over the complete tuning range.
