摘要：
A method for the prediction in time of the loss of load-carrying capacity of a structure of a viscoelastic material has been proposed. The method is based on a comprehensive analysis of the stress-strain behavior of the material under tension - compression conditions and determination of the limit stress sigma (lim). With increasing loading time, the stress sigma (lim) tends to decrease.
