摘要：

This paper introduced the basic concepts, architecture, patterns, ecosystem and industry development of SaaS. SaaS is a type of cloud computing. According to their own requirements, customers order and get service provided by vendor through the Internet. Cloud services are usually divided into three layers. Upper layer is usually SaaS, software-as-a-service. On the one hand, the utilization rate of the software is the largest through the SaaS services. On the other hand, the frequency of customer on-site implementation and maintenance costs is reduced, the security and confidentiality of data is improved.
