Newer Biologic and Small-Molecule Therapies for IBD There is still no cure for inflammatory bowel disease. This review covers newer treatments that reflect our understanding of the complex pathogenesis of IBD, with a focus on clinical and endoscopic remission and more precise molecular targeting of inflammatory cascades.
