摘要
Christian spiritual formation is the process by which a person's life is transformed to become Christlike; the person consciously aligns their words, deeds, and inner activities with the teachings of the Bible. The present study aims to explore the relationship between self-awareness and spiritual formation and proposes a novel curriculum designed to cultivate Christian spiritual self-awareness (CSSA). The curriculum combines biblical teachings with self-observation exercises and was delivered to twelve participants over eight sessions. Participants were interviewed and transcripts were analyzed using grounded theory to evaluate self-reported changes in CSSA and resulting life transformation. The findings reveal that CSSA can be effectively developed using this approach and can lead to renewed relationships with God, others, and oneself. The relevance of CSSA in promoting spiritual transformation among Christians is discussed, in addition to the potential applicability of the curriculum to diverse cultural and ecclesial contexts.
