High bandwidth 0.35μm CMOS class AB current amplifier using frequency dependent current mirrors technique

摘要
A very high bandwidth class AB (Push-Pull) current amplifier using the compensation resistor technique [5],[6] is presented and analysed. Such technique stands as a powerful method of bandwidth enhancement for general circuits using CMOS current mirrors. The proposed bandwidth is being enhanced from 1.07GHz for the uncompensated current amplifier to 1.17GHz for the compensated one without affecting the current gain. All simulation results are obtained using Hspice tool and MAGIC layout editor with 0.35 mum CMOS TSMC parameters [7].
