摘要
Dynamic Inductive Charging appears to be an ideal solution towards increasing the limited travel range of Electric Vehicles (EVs). A thorough analysis is required on the development of a dynamic Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) system's control design, in order to ensure the operation at a maximum efficiency while transferring sufficient amounts of power. In this respect the bifurcation phenomenon shall be avoided. The EV's movement in dynamic inductive charging demands the study of bifurcation to be performed in a different perspective than static inductive charging. This paper analyzes the phenomenon of bifurcation in dynamic IPT systems, not just limited to the system's operational efficiency, but also studying the impact of the EV's movement in the efficiency and the output power of the system. The simulation of a magnetic coupler is performed in order to validate the presented analysis.
