摘要
A study was conducted in two local government areas of Oyo State, Nigeria, on the adoption of new varieties of maize and cassava, new crops-cowpea and soybean and a new farm management technique-alley farming. It was hypothesised that the three types of innovation have different characteristics; which make them relatively easier or more difficult to adopt. This hypothesis was found to be supported in the data presented herein. The implications of this finding for extension services are discussed.
