Discussion on Owner's Management of Green Construction

From the point of view of project management, green construction is the common goal for all participants of the project, and it requires their joint efforts. But the role of the owner has always been neglected in the course of carrying out green construction. After discussing the role of the owner, the paper points out the necessity for the owner to carry out green construction management. Then, the paper focuses on how to do for the owner at different stage of the project. In the course of bidding, project cost is proposed to be used in evaluating green construction, which facilitates quantitative comparison of green construction of different tenders.
