摘要
Correlated color temperature uniformity (CCTU) is one of the most important performance factors for white-light LEDs. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate the improvement of the CCTU of the multi-chip white-light LED (MCW-LED) subsequent to adding silicon dioxides (SiO2) in phosphor structures. The experimental results show that the CCT peak-to-valley (P-V) deviation can thus be reduced to about 700K for an 8500K MCW-LED.
