摘要：

This paper deals with the initiation and running of a unique programme for the education and development of academic staff in teacher education colleges in Israel. The programme rationale and objectives will be presented, as well as the teaching methods being used and main topics covered. The evaluation process that is being implemented will be briefly discussed.
