摘要
Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is one of the most prevalent developmental disorders of young children. it makes parent-child interactions negative and conflict. Also commonly found in such families are elevated levels of parenting stress, higher rates of parental depression and other types of psychological distress, which lead to lower levels of marital satisfaction. but, implication for clinical practice are discussed. This research investigated the marital satisfaction in parents of children with ADHD in comparison with normal children. For this purpose, 101 parents of children with ADHD and 60 parents of normal children answered to Enrich marital satisfaction scale and demographic questionnaire. Findings showed that marital satisfaction is decreased in parents of children with ADHD. in addition, it reveals that demographic variables such as educational level is an important factor in marital satisfaction in parents of children with ADHD.
