摘要
The article is devoted to the possible improvement of the method of failure mode and effect analysis, which is widely used to assess production risks during the construction of instrument safety systems. The main problem of this method is the collective assessment of risks by various experts, but experience shows that in order to obtain more reliable results, it is necessary to carry out an additional assessment of expert opinions, and make a final decision. Therefore, this paper proposes the use of a combined approach to the method of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and statistical methods. The paper shows a combination of FMEA and Shewhart control charts as a method of assessing production risks. The validity of the combined method is shown. Recommendations are given for calculation of control limits for Shewhart charts. The proposed combined approach can be extended to many industries to assess and mitigate risks. The article deals with the issues related to the improvement of the FMEA method to eliminate human errors.
