摘要
The vapour absorption refrigeration system is not so much used commercially because of its low performance. The performance of absorption refrigeration system is required to improve to make its efficient alternative of vapour compression refrigeration system. This paper reviews the development of new working pairs and nano-refrigerant (mixture of nano-particles and refrigerant) which contribute to enhance the performance of absorption refrigeration system. This study presents the comparison of absorption refrigeration system with different new working pairs by considering the COP and circulation ratio of system. Also the effect of nano-particles on thermal conductivity of binary fluid, absorption rate, heat transfer rate, boiling heat transfer coefficient, pressure drop, pumping power and coefficient of performance of refrigeration system were obtained and reported in this review.
